Sumzap

Terms

Plain-English terms for using Sumzap. By using it, you agree to them.

Who we are

Sumzap is run by Ryan Jarrett, trading as Cleansheet, 11 Merleburgh Drive, Sittingbourne, Kent ME10 2RW. Email hello@sumzap.app.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over. Only upload a chat you're a member of, and only where you're happy for the group to see the result. Don't use Sumzap to embarrass, harass or expose anyone.

What you get

Card 1 (the stats) is free. For a one-off payment (£1.23, shown before you pay) you unlock card 2 (the awards) and card 3 (the verdict) for the whole group, through a group link you can share. There's no subscription and nothing renews.

Results last 30 days, then they're deleted. Save the card images if you want to keep them.

The awards are jokes

The awards and verdict are written by an AI from a sample of messages and simple counts. They're meant as affectionate fun, and they can be wrong. They're not statements of fact about anyone.

Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you'd normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. Because the cards unlock straight away, we ask you before you pay to agree to that and to accept that, once they're unlocked, you lose the right to cancel. You won't be charged unless you tick that box.

Refunds

We refund automatically if your result has expired by the time a payment arrives, or if you're charged twice for the same result. If anything else goes wrong (say the cards don't unlock), email hello@sumzap.app with your result link and we'll put it right or refund you. This doesn't affect your legal rights.

Not affiliated with WhatsApp

Sumzap isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to WhatsApp or Meta.

Our responsibility

We'll provide Sumzap with reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for how other people react to cards you share. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version on this page when you pay is the one that applies to that payment. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
